oh my, Monday was full moon....
I was wondering why a bunch of people were acting crazy....
Damn you MS...I used to have a desktop gadget that told me when full moon was....but no longer, MS did away with the option, although the computer still offers the 'get more gadgets' when the website has be repurposed...one would thing MS is too poor to keep an extra page up...skinflints!

It's funny really. When we moved to Vegas it was during the summer. 100 degree heat plus with no humidity. The wife and I immediately started feeling good and all aches and pains went away. So we love the heat! Bring it on just not above 110. 95 to 110 is fantastic weather here in Vegas. That is once you are used to it!!!

I just realized I was in Toronto for a week and I could have gone to check Vladimir Vasiliev school...... always wanted to take a look at Systema.... and I think the Wu Taijiquan family are there too.....DAMN!!!!

....I sparred a tree tonight! :/ okay, when his roundhouse connected with my arm, it felt like a tree...but still..
oh my...I know the feeling...I sparred with a kid once, barely 14 but build like a tree..
My shin pad had slipped and we collided. Not even full tilt...I thought my leg was broken. Shins were a sickly shade of green for a little while...poor kid felt so terrible, but there was nothing he could have done differently.

Been there!! Took a direct hit on my quad muscle tonight too, but I'll be back at practice tomorrow - count on it!

I had a lovely shin to kneecap incident this Monday, although, somehow my knee came away slightly better out of the deal.

Use to spar with trees all the time. Trees are used in training in police/military Sanda....... and as always..... remember....never trust a tree
