Your company sounds like they donā€™t treat you guys very well. That said, donā€™t get too to the ACA marketplace. Im not sure it will survive for much longer, either.
I've worked for 7 different companies (8 if you include a long internship) over the course of 16ish years. Of them, only two treated me it's employees better than this place. One I left due to moving, and the other for a career change.

This is pretty par for the course in my experience so far, and there's a reason my generation feels no loyalty whatsoever to their employers.

I wrote out the jobs that I've had and decided not to post them here, given that this is public. @Steve sent you a pm of them instead.

In NHā€¦ and for some reasonā€¦. Iā€™m having trouble keeping my eyes openā€¦. Donā€™t know whyā€¦. I had a full 2 hours of sleep šŸ˜“

Ok iā€™m tired, apparently I quoted myself, posted it, and I donā€™t know why. And it seems Iā€™m not as young as i use to be. Just canā€™t go very well on 2 hours of sleep in 37 hoursā€¦ like i use to

But on the bright side, Iā€™m in Maine, and for me this is total relaxationā€¦ and sleep soon

Oh and my mother is home, resting and doing better

Goodnight MT

I work night shift, and sometimes I do 16-hour shifts so I can relate when it comes to sleep deprivation šŸ„“

Back in the ER again, same situation, but this time i got up at 5:00 am sunday and did get 2 hours sleep before having to get here.

And to make it even better, 2 homeless people sleeping in the waiting room, one is rather belligerentā€¦. At least so far not aimed at meā€¦.. oh joy, he just threatened to shoot someoneā€¦.

Left hospital 1, went to hospital 2
My mother in a lot of pain, hospital 1 definition of ā€œshortlyā€ is apparently greater than 1.5 hours, the uncaring, unhelpful receptionist, who seemed bored, would mot call to check, add in the 2 homeless gentlemen, 1 who was sleeping, who had likely not bathed in a long time. And the other spouting threats to shoot peopleā€¦i had enough and went to hospital 2. At least she is being seen now

well just remember that America has the best healthcare in the world! Obviously. Capitalism and healthcare is a match made in heaven. Like chocolate and Funyuns.

One of my coworkers is likely going to have to quit thanks to this great healthcare. He can't afford the spike in our company, but also can't afford the $450 a month they'll have to pay for his wife's insulin now.

I reported the shouting threats guy to security when I left, Found out he was removed by the police. But the laws in NYS (Bail reform) mean that he was back out on the street before I got home from hospital 2 with my mother.

Kidding aside, thatā€™s really crappy. Sorry to hear that. If we had universal healthcare, like pretty much every other civilized nation, this wouldnā€™t happen. And folks like @xue could retire without worrying about healthcare. And etc. and etc.

Alright. I donā€™t want to make anyone jealous. But I won dinner today. Wild Alaskan sockeye with a blueberry agrodolce, some pearl couscous made with chicken stock, mixed with fresh spinach, and sautĆ©ed zucchini. A little glass of Cabernet and Iā€™m feeling quite happy.

Not exactly a Michelin star plating, but delicious nonetheless. And With all those anti oxidants and omega oils, I may very well live forever. šŸ˜‚

That looks.... pretty amazing. I'm having beef, gravy, mashed potatoes and vegetables for lunch, it's gonna be epic, but not as epic as yours
