Actually that might be a working gun....but it could get you shot

There is a company out there that makes smart phone cases with a knife blade, a tazer and paper spray

Universal Cell Phone Case with Knife, Black - 220851, Military Grade Pocket Knive at Sportsman's Guide
Paper spray? Wow... the world-famous, terrifying paper spray...

Well, the battery was considerably smaller than the bag phone. I had three batteries for it - two of the standard ones and a much thicker version that probably lasted twice as long. It's odd how much folks gripe about battery life these days - we'd have been ecstatic to have a phone that we could talk on all day and still have some battery left.

Then there was the 6000 series Nokia that needed charging once a week max...

I hate pepper spray....I'd rather take an **** whooping or tazed than be spayed.

I'd not like to be spayed either...

This wouldn't be a problem if you ate bacon.

Bacon carotene is good for eye health....

Doesn't do diddly squat for detached retina recovery though..and there is NO SUCH THING as Bacon carotene

But due to your concern for my eye health I have a nice beverage for you...a nice cup of bacon juice (honestly...just looking at that picture is making me feel like I need to gag)

Worked at a hospital once where the VP had one of these

And he had one of these to go with it

Seemed like WAAAAY to much work to stay connected...in a tine when nobody really gave a hoot about staying connected
My first cell phone was like this:

My second was more like this (but actually a sleeker version of this idea):

Both were a bit more trouble than they were worth, but I loved the geekiness of them.

Well, obviously you don't drink that straight, much too thick. Instead, drizzle it over all your meals until you run out. After a few weeks, you will notice a bunch of (hopefully good) changes to your health.

Exactly! We, bacon devotees, advocate moderation in all things! Even consumption of bacon and bacon juice. After all, even too much aspirin can hurt you.

Ah mahh gawwwwsh... the roast I did a couple of weeks ago is a big success, really stoked with it!!! Thought I fudged it... the first roast was a bit dark as planned (just to see how it tasted at that depth), but the second roast is dynamite.. taken only 5° Celsius lower! Just incredible as espresso: great citrus acidity, orangey flavours, blackcurrent, berries, caramel, super creamy body, sweet lingering aftertaste.

Tried as a latte too and that was stunning, really stoked with this one!! It's okay if no one is as excited as I am!!! [emoji14] (thought I'd share the world of coffee here as there are delish foods shared in this thread too hehe)

Looks fabulous. How dark was the other roast (I tend toward pretty dark roasts)?

Not crazy dark, up until just the first snaps of second crack (a stage in coffee roasting). A few oily spots on the beans but not covered in oils. I only went to that point as a baseline reference point so I know what temperature that stage happens with this bean.

Once you go too dark you tend to lose alot of the intricate amazing flavours (especially with high quality specialty grade beans), and the bean takes on more 'roasty' elements and flavours (and then goes into too bitter, charcoally etc). So the goal is to maximize the potential of what's in the bean, and express the best parts of it. Some beans do better darker, some not so much. But to each their own, whatever suits your palette! And a well done darker roast will bring out alot of chocolate, caramel and nutty flavours.

The sweet spot between too light and too dark (and the roast profile of how you got there) is the good stuff hehe. It's a really fun art and there's soooo much to learn... a bit like martial arts!

Either my PC Video card...or my monitor...is dying....... but since I already swapped out the video card and things did not get better....I am now suspecting it is my monitor...which I will swap out later today.
