Does someone need a map?

In my time as a cop -- despite dire predictions nearly every year -- Cinco de Mayo hasn't been an issue with any sort of Latinos. It has been yet another excuse for white kids to get drunk...

In my time as a cop, it was an excuse for Mexicans to start fights at schools with the Black kids that attend. So, we have to up our Cinco De Mayo deployment. Now, due to budget restraints, we can't do that anymore.

And what is hilarious, is that my Mexican-American lieutenant said as soon as they figure out that we aren't deploying like we used to, they'll be fighting again.

Go figure.

I wonder why nobody pulls that crap on Saint Paddy's....

You want my opinion: It's because St. Patrick's Day is a celebration of cultural heritage without the commesurate rejection of the culture in the location in which one is currently residing. So no one feels insulted when its celebrated.

St. Patrick's Day parades began in the States (err....Colonies) as a protest against the low wages paid to Irish migrant workers in Boston.

The celebration has had 250+ years to take on different meanings

Incendiary indeed! Got quite a bit of attention!

"No, sir. We always, all four of us, wear flags on the same day. We didn't even realize it was Cinco de Mayo. I swear. We're not trying to cause a confrontation or anything."

Do I think they have the right to wear those flags? Heck yes!

Do I think they are being punks? Heck yes!

I was under the impression that it was disrespectful to do anything with the flag besides fly it or display it properly.

.

A pic of the perps, and....a map.
