As a result of insomnia, i willfully ignored jet li's sage wisdom. At least it kept me distracted and hopefully now i can sleep.

It's definitely a err... weird situation... don't really know how to approach it, am just staying out of it mostly now. Something seems a little... off for sure. But such persistence and utter disrespect... :s anyhoos.

Just found out something both amusing and educational. When Spartacus instigated a rebellion among his fellow gladiators, they had no weapons initially - understanding these guys were NOT happy, their captors wisely kept the weapons used in the gladiator fights in a separate armory. So, the gladiators invaded the kitchens instead and used kitchen utensils to fight their way to the armory with the real weapons. Lesson - never underestimate the power of a good fork!

Never underestimate the power of well trained killing machines

Poisoning was a big cause of death back Ancient Rome.

Between kitchen utensil weilding gladiators and poisoning........the spoon was mightier than the sword. :D

Don't forget the self induced poisonings....those Romans sure liked their wine....in lead cups...so exactly how hard would it be for a gladiator to defeat a drunken, lead poisoned roman, with a spoon :D

We could stage a reenactment and verify... You know... for research purposes.
