How much older? It's not one of those, is it?

I shudder to think. I had a 21" CRT at one point. That thing probably weighed 80 lbs. and took up an entire desk. I can't quite picture how big a 24" CRT would be. I'm sure they made 24" CRT TV's, but I'm not sure we ever had one that big.

I still have "fond" memories of when I was working as an admin for B of A and had to haul those things out of the closet when a new person needed to be set up.

And anyone in the Virginia area who wants to join me for Tough Mudder next year, give a holler. The dates haven't been released yet, but I'm signed up for the 5K on Saturday and the 10-mile (ish) on Sunday.

We use to have 27" CRT monitors for our GIS folks. I can't tell you how happy I was to put them in the surplus truck and get rid of them.... I was sooooo sick and tired of moving them around

And understandably so. It'd be easier to pick up everything else around it and rearrange the world around those monsters.

Yup, I hated moving those things. Once they were de-commissioned, they went into my setup room, and stayed right there, only to move when they got taken away forever, never to be seen again....

I will let you in on a secret..... a lot of Chinese people do that...actually pretty much all of them that I know...ad it is incredibly common amongst Chinese marital artists that are actually Chinese
