7 hours at the dojang today - 2 hour Black Belt class,
helped out with kids' class, 1 hour open rank class and
helped out with make up testing - wouldn't have it any
other way :)

Well... I got the jury duty on the 7/11; 8: 30am

My only regrets. When I was signing my name the pen decided not to work. My name looks terrible. A 6 yr old could write better.

If im lucky the people at the courthouse will tell themselves. "What is this, I cant read this mess... if he shows up just kindly tell him to leave"

SHEESH!!

They changed the due date of the final research paper for this course... it was due in 2 weeks and now,,,it is due in 1 week...not cool..

I guess that is what the class gets for complaining about the course structure....

Good luck. Your chances of being selected for a jury may not be very high, depending upon how many cases you've got going on in your area, but I hope you enjoy the process. It's a little inconvenient, but the way I look at it, we aren't asked/required to do much in the USA. Pretty much, our civic obligations begin and end with paying taxes and serving on a jury when called.

I recently served on a jury that lasted about a month. I found the entire process interesting and don't regret it at all. Was an pretty unusual case, and jury was a diverse group of people ranging from a 60 year old Little Ceasar's Pizza clerk to a couple of engineers, and there was even a lawyer in the mix.

In some ways it was surprisingly close to the TV show Law and Order. In other ways, it was nothing like it. Hope they take good care of you.

Person told the Mrs that from Las Vegas to the Grand canyon was only a 40 minute drive.... I said no.... she did not believe me......actually had to pull up Google map to prove it was about 4 hours.

Nobody gives a hoot, how your signature looks, unless it's a forensics expert....and then you won't have a choice to attend the trial!

In TX for my daughters wedding Friday. Just washed 800 miles of bugs off the front of the Vette.
It's a little warm here.
Like, I think I'm in the 9th circle of Hell warm.

It's an outdoor wedding. In TX. In June. Wearing a tux.

10 circle for sure...

We're driving down to Phoenix. Should be there Sunday night. Looks like the high will be 119F. I won't be wearing a tux, but I think at a certain point it just doesn't matter what you're wearing. :)

I think anything above 90...
I'm taking a cooler full of those blue ice gel things. I'm going to tuck them into the tux.
