Going for an ultrasound today to hopefully figure out why I have pain in my hips and pelvic...I don't mind telling you I am a little bit nervous about this one.

Nope. It held up fine. And I survived, thanks to frequent changes of blue ice packs...

OK, I'll stop, I like the 50s and 60s corvette and those last two even made me a bit queasy
It is likely to early to ask, but how was the wedding
Well, I didn't melt or burst into flames, so there's that...
It was lovely, and we think they're a good couple. And since I was sweating so much, nobody can prove I was crying.
Sue and I are sending them to Cancun for a week to learn to dive, and they're really excited about that.
After breakfast, Sue and I will be starting the next leg of the trip. To West Memphis AR today, and then on to IN tomorrow to see her parents for a couple days.

The advantage to hot places and weddings is that you can always say your eyes are sweating
AR and IN....aren't you heading in the wrong direction... a lot of driving. I was never found of driving in the mid-west. Have family in Mi and Oh and drove there a few times.
Mrs Xue is currently driving me nuts with trip plans... I think we have finally settled on Hawaii, but now she is driving me nuts with when she wants to go and what she plans on doing....it will be nice when we get there, but the planning with her is always a pain....apparently in China they don't know the meaning of logistics and have little concept of time as it applies to how long things take

We enjoy road trips. Just the two of us in the Vette, turn off the phones and pretend you had no signal, see the country...
We planned this route to see the Mississippi south. In the past, we've always crossed it up by St Louis. It's big there, but Sue has never seen it where it's really big. We're taking our time, stopping different places.
Trust me. That's not a China thing. Sue will tell me as we're heading out the door to go to work that we need to stop a couple places on the way. Because that won't make us late for work or anything.
I do the planning for our trips, but trips like this one are easy. Plan the route, chop it into easy driving days (no 12 hour drives!), book hotels. Done. Want to stop and view the river? No biggie. We're only doing 7 hours on the road today (assuming I obey speed limits - which I don't) so there's plenty of time.

Once had 30 minutes to get the to a Chinese language class which lasted 45 minutes...(75 minutes)
The plan presented to me was
Leave home for the school drop youngest off....(that would be 25 minutes)
Go shopping for Groceries at American store for her mom and us... (that is a minimum of 1 hour)
Go to Chinese market to get more for her mother...(minimum 45 minutes)
Go to her mom's and drop of groceries... (that is 30 minutes minimum)
Get back in time to pick up youngest from class....
Somehow she was convinced that you could fit 160 minutes into 75 minutes... I have also been told that we had time to go into a restaurant, sit down, order, get the food and eat.... and the car would be ok.... in a 15 minutes spot...
