Only thirteen weeks until NFL kickoff. I'm stoked.

Just dropped the Vette off. Having a stripe and some graphics added to the hood.

Just found out that I have to have surgery to repair a torn meniscus.

New hood stripe and graphic.
The skull with flag-eyes, for those who don't follow these things, is "Jake", the logo/mascot for the Corvette Racing team.

Sent from an old fashioned 300 baud acoustic modem by whistling into the handset. Not TapaTalk. Really.

First time I heard about the turtle ships was in 1988.
The course designer for the stadium jump course of the equestrian events (a top German guy, BTW) had chosen them as theme for one of the jumps.

Of course, I never read up on the history until I started TKD.
Yo Sin being a form and all that.

Bummer. Recover fast.

Still need to do an MRI to see exactly what the deal is but I'll probably wait until this Fall until after the First Dan belt test....don't want to stop training right now.

good luck with the MRI - I have a small tear in my medial meniscus,
but my doctor prescribed an off-loader brace and is holding off on surgery for now

Ever since I put the larger wheels/tires on the Vette, I've had an occasional slight rub from the right rear tire. Had time to check it out today, and it turns out the right height was off. The right rear of the car was 3/4" lower than the left.
Thankfully, the Corvette suspension is pretty adjustable. A few turns of a wrench and the right now matches the left.
Taekwondo tonight. Work all weekend. Pack Monday. And leave for a road trip. My youngest daughter is getting married in TX, so we're driving from CO to TX for the wedding (I'm going to be wearing a tux, at an outdoor wedding, in TX, in June... this may be fatal...) then drive to IN to see Sue's parents, then back to CO. About 3500 miles.

First, congratulations to your youngest daughter.

Based solely on the Tux in Texas in June bit, and I realize you are taking a Vette, not a GTO, but I am thinking the hood should be painted with this instead

EDIT: That just reminded me that a friend of mine waaaaaaaay back in the early 80s had one of these

Well, Jake is derived from the "Punisher" skull, so that ought to be close enough...
