I really don't know if yelling about ultraviolence really puts people in a frame of mind to fight under stress.
I have done that training and I don't think it is reflective of a real fight unless I was winning. Which isn't the important part i should be training for.
Competitive fighters don't do that. And instead train mentally to calm their emotions. Not heighten them.
But it is a super common method for training for self defence.
