Macho talk:

I will beat up my opponent so bad that

- His head will look like a pig's head.
- His own mother won't be able to recognize him.
- He has to spend hours to pick up his missing teeth on the ground.
- He will need a nurse to take care of him for the rest of his life.
- He will regret that his mother ever brought him into this world.
- He will believe that death may be a better option afterward.
- why flower is so red.

you could probably kick my ***, so I shouldn't be laughing, but this list made me laugh 😆 . One time a dude tried to fight me and I said "Do you got health and dental insurance?" He thought for a minute and didn't fight me. One time my teacher r.i.p, a tkd blackbelt said to him something like "if you do this certain thing I will make you bleed, do you understand? You will be bleeding" my teacher was like "yeah I understand, hey man do you see that shovel over there?" The tkd guy said "yeah why?" My teacher said "because tonight when you go to sleep I'm going to kill you with it" the tkd guy took his stuff and ran and requested a new room and they moved him to a different room. He was from the Korean army and moved to my teachers room to be bunkmates in Vietnam. One of the coolest stories I ever heard.

Was listening to the radio earlier today. Forever young by alphaville was on. And I started thinking 'what do I do to stay forever young?' Obviously martial arts, but also other small things like giving myself a hint of nostalgia, like watching movies that inspired me when I was a kid. Or reading a comic book, or even playing video games. I think we should all try to find that thing or things that keep us "forever young" on the inside. Just a thought.
I think it’s impossible to remain ‘unchanged’ as one’s life progresses and it’s devolution to try and abrogate those changes is impossible and not desirable. All the experiences of life take us away from our original form, like a fine tablecloth being unfolded and accumulating stains from use: a red wine stain from a joyous meal with friends, a slop of tomato sauce from dishing out pasta with ones family etc. To wash or even bleach that tablecloth of life and experience is an awful thing to attempt. We are those experiences and memories and if they’re erased it’s like self-imposed dementia.

Don’t try and stay young, embrace your stains!

Currently watching I Am Legend. I'm not a movie guy at  all, but for some reason post-apocalyptic movies or settings really speak to me, I'm certain there are deeper symbolic/psychological reasons for that 🤣

But anyone have any other recommendations for these kind of movies?

Ps. Can involve infected ones/zombies, but can also not haha

I do subscribe to this philosophy, but when it is more than just 'stains' it can be a challenge.

As some great philosopher/poets said,

So no one told you life was gonna be this way,
Your job's a joke, you're broke, your love life's D.O.A.
It's like you're always stuck in second gear
When it hasn't been your day, your week, your month, or even your year….
