There are new Taiji masters  on MT these days.....and I leave all taijiquan questions to their Wuxia..... not interested in fighting off troll tactics any longer....
More like trolls who think they know taiji, I hate trolls man. You've been doing taiji for what? At least 40 years? You are a grandmaster compared to the know it alls I've seen in the past. I think it's funny people come on here thinking they are the new bruce lee, there are actual grandmaster and high Dans and even senior sifus on here. One time I was talking to someone related to the founder of one of my styles and didn't even realize until I did some digging. Now a days I try to be as humble as possible, because you never know who you're talking to. They don't know who they are talking to man. Probably 19 year Olds who think they know more than they actually do. I was once one of those 19 year Olds, thank God I matured and mellowed out.

Thanks, but I am no Grandmaster (on mainland China, amongst the Chinese, that is an insult actually) I have just been doing taijiquan for over 30 years, martial arts for over 50.

Was listening to the radio earlier today. Forever young by alphaville was on. And I started thinking 'what do I do to stay forever young?' Obviously martial arts, but also other small things like giving myself a hint of nostalgia, like watching movies that inspired me when I was a kid. Or reading a comic book, or even playing video games. I think we should all try to find that thing or things that keep us "forever young" on the inside. Just a thought.

Agree wholeheartedly. It's very much been a focus for me lately. Not so much to stay young, but to remind me to remain child-like in curiosity and keep  fun in life. Yeah I purposely started playing video games as a way to take life (and more importantly, myself) less seriously and to have fun, and many other things and ways of approaching the day as well I implement. Not everything we do needs to achieve some goal or outcome, nor done to be 'productive', but can be done for it's own sake or out of just pure fun. Need to remind myself of that.

I'm sorry for your loss. He such a handsome boy. I lost my dog last year, he was more than just a dog to me. Even though he passed one thing never will and that's all the love he gave me and our family, that part will forever be in my heart. I'm sorry this happened man.

🙏
There’s a saying, ‘Taking on a pet is signing a contract with sorrow.’

Yeah, but it’s worth it. I wouldn’t trade the heart felt sorrow of losing any pet I’ve had because of the pure joy of spending their lives with me and letting me care for them.

Macho talk:

I will beat up my opponent so bad that

- His head will look like a pig's head.
- His own mother won't be able to recognize him.
- He has to spend hours to pick up his missing teeth on the ground.
- He will need a nurse to take care of him for the rest of his life.
- He will regret that his mother ever brought him into this world.
- He will believe that death may be a better option afterward.
- why flower is so red.
