That’s interesting. Those places don’t sell distilled /deionised water in the U.K. Nobody uses it other than for topping up car batteries or watering chemical-sensitive plants such as orchids and carnivorous plants. What do you use it for in the US?

Most people use it in appliances when they have really hard water out of the tap. In your iron for steam, in a Neti pot, cpap machines, steam cleaners for rugs.

Was just standing in front of the Atlantic for about 10 minutes in a standing meditation (wu wei) felt all the tension just go away. It was windy and a little chilly, but it made no difference. It was great

I really like Maine

Goodnight MT

'Graduated' the couch to 5k program today! yay! I got what I wanted out of it, which is not necessarily to get round in an impressive time or even an average one, but just to develop the fitness to go the distance. Then I got a sudden call from a client who needed to clear a tree off the road, which was probably just as taxing :D

In the U.K. we have this new thing that is brilliant. Our cartons and bottles now have tops that remain attached to the bottle. It means you never drop the top on the floor, you don’t have to palm it while you’re pouring and then you want to recap, you just flip it over and rotate. Marvellous!
