Yeah well, wine is mentioned so frequently in the scriptures that I can only conclude that god loves us and that he wants us to drink winelol! They won’t have much left after you hit the rectory.
. It seems like you’re going through some stuff. I hope you find the help you need, whether in your religion or outside of it. You sound like you’re dealing with some pretty heavy stuff.I'll be honest, I'm drunk. Tomorrow is vocational day, when I find out if I've really got the stuff to become a priest. Wish me luck
I once knew a catholic monsignor for about 6 months who was a heroin addict that would “minister” to a hooker nearly every day that I knew him. He was apparently quite functional. I do wonder about his story and where the funds for his proclivities originated.. It seems like you’re going through some stuff. I hope you find the help you need, whether in your religion or outside of it. You sound like you’re dealing with some pretty heavy stuff.
I joke, but I wish you well in your endeavors.Yeah well, wine is mentioned so frequently in the scriptures that I can only conclude that god loves us and that he wants us to drink wine
Best of luck mate, hoping all goes really wellI'll be honest, I'm drunk. Tomorrow is vocational day, when I find out if I've really got the stuff to become a priest. Wish me luck
Funny, you mention Christians like you aren’t one yourself. You are right? Because you could just join my cult and be ordained today if you aren’t. Plus we have better drinks like Kool-aid which pairs real nice with vodka.
Gravy?Everything pairs real nice with good vodka.
Gravy is good with everything. Everybody knows that...Gravy?
Also, there is no ingredient that cannot be improved by putting it in a pieGravy is good with everything. Everybody knows that...
Congratulation on the priest trainingWell, it went really well. I'm gonna train to be a priest. Thanks for the good wishes everyone. Couldn't reply sooner- had a funeral to go to and just loads of stuff happening at the same time. I'm absolutely knackered.
The British obsession with pies is beyond me. They’re obesity with a crust! Also, there is no ingredient that cannot be improved by putting it in a pie
How DARE you besmirch the good name of pie....The British obsession with pies is beyond me. They’re obesity with a crust!
Not fruit pies, meat/fist/poultry pies. That’s what the Brits are obsessed with. Weird jelly in with the dead animal, ‘Stargazy Pie’How DARE you besmirch the good name of pie....
I'm about to go downstairs to the basement guan to train and workout...but before I go I am going to try and get this ear worm out of my head. However it is likely you may have no idea who this band is unless you grew up near Boston
This is the ear worm.... but I will admit, as far as ear worms go, it is not bad
They also did Psycho Chicken
Going to try and drown it out with another Boston band that you might have heard of, Aerosmith....
Fantastic to hear brother, well done, a beautiful calling!Well, it went really well. I'm gonna train to be a priest. Thanks for the good wishes everyone. Couldn't reply sooner- had a funeral to go to and just loads of stuff happening at the same time. I'm absolutely knackered.
Thanks heaps for the update and letting us know MTW, didn't realise they'd had floodingFor those of you who are/aren't aware @Gerry Seymour lives in the area of Western NC that got hit hard with flooding. Just got this text earlier today, he said I could share it with MT as an update. Copy/Pasted below.
"Thanks for checking- I am planning to hop on MT to give an update. We are okay, though the area looks like a goddamn war zone. Two power substations have to be replaced. The Green River changed course. Some roads are just gone (including those we need to get guests back after ziplining, so I'm now out of work). Trees down everywhere. I live in a forest, and can see at least 8 trees down from one window. But no significant damage to us or our neighbors. Power will probably be out for more than a week, but we have solar, so we can get by if we are frugal. All in all, we are very lucky."
