I'll be honest, I'm drunk. Tomorrow is vocational day, when I find out if I've really got the stuff to become a priest. Wish me luck :)
😳. It seems like you’re going through some stuff. I hope you find the help you need, whether in your religion or outside of it. You sound like you’re dealing with some pretty heavy stuff.

I once knew a catholic monsignor for about 6 months who was a heroin addict that would “minister” to a hooker nearly every day that I knew him. He was apparently quite functional. I do wonder about his story and where the funds for his proclivities originated.

Funny, you mention Christians like you aren’t one yourself. You are right? Because you could just join my cult and be ordained today if you aren’t. Plus we have better drinks like Kool-aid which pairs real nice with vodka.

Everything pairs real nice with good vodka. 😊

I'm about to go downstairs to the basement guan to train and workout...but before I go I am going to try and get this ear worm out of my head. However it is likely you may have no idea who this band is unless you grew up near Boston

This is the ear worm.... but I will admit, as far as ear worms go, it is not bad

They also did Psycho Chicken

Going to try and drown it out with another Boston band that you might have heard of, Aerosmith....

Well, it went really well. I'm gonna train to be a priest. Thanks for the good wishes everyone. Couldn't reply sooner- had a funeral to go to and just loads of stuff happening at the same time. I'm absolutely knackered.
Congratulation on the priest training

sorry about the funeral

For those of you who are/aren't aware @Gerry Seymour lives in the area of Western NC that got hit hard with flooding. Just got this text earlier today, he said I could share it with MT as an update. Copy/Pasted below.

"Thanks for checking- I am planning to hop on MT to give an update. We are okay, though the area looks like a goddamn war zone. Two power substations have to be replaced. The Green River changed course. Some roads are just gone (including those we need to get guests back after ziplining, so I'm now out of work). Trees down everywhere. I live in a forest, and can see at least 8 trees down from one window. But no significant damage to us or our neighbors. Power will probably be out for more than a week, but we have solar, so we can get by if we are frugal. All in all, we are very lucky."

The British obsession with pies is beyond me. They’re obesity with a crust!
How DARE you besmirch the good name of pie....

Not fruit pies, meat/fist/poultry pies. That’s what the Brits are obsessed with. Weird jelly in with the dead animal, ‘Stargazy Pie’ 🤢
