YES HARE KRISHNA GUY IS BACK!!! Quick, get to the thread before it gets shut down! Sorry, have been waiting patiently for his return, he seems to really love us!

TRIGGER WARNING! Do not read this if youā€™re a sensitive sort.

I had to have a neurological test the other day as Iā€™ve been suffering continuous fasciculations and whole muscle twitches for several months. Motoneurones were my area of expertise so I was pretty certain it was probably idiopathic and nothing to worry about, but my mother died of Motor Neurone Disease, so I was being cautious. In the absence of any other symptoms itā€™s probably nothing but I have a specialist appointment in about a year (šŸ™„) to be sure.

Episodes like this, slightly change oneā€™s perspective on life. Those with terminal illness often have an incredible ā€˜understandingā€™ of life. In fact, Iā€™d die for insight like that šŸ˜‰

If I did have MND Iā€™d have to think about how Iā€™d dispatch myself before the atrocious suffering begins and this was something I discussed with my GP. Technically, itā€™s not an easy thing to do in the U.K. at the moment.

No sympathy required by the way.
