You are not alone. I had someone frustrated by not finding a menu... except they were looking for an Excel menu in Access. It's ok... they are out there... all we can do is join forces and resist.

Had a frustrated user because they could not find Excel..... they were looking in Word...on the ribbon

On Wednesday I actually watched a guy plug one side of a training table into the other, then take the cord from the second side and plug it back into the first. I figured he was hoping for some kind of induction loop.

Had a colleague call me to a board room where he was setting up a projector. It was not working, he did not know what to do. He connected the VGA and the DVI cable to the projector.....from the projector.....all he plugged into the laptop was the USB for the Projector remote

Oh when the decided to centralize IT across the state and take over e-mail. My e-mail would not work.....guess how you were required to contact them about troubles with your e-mail, I will give you a hint; you were not allowed to call them on the phone

Same as how most ISPs here won't help with connection issues unless you've done the online diagnostic and troubleshooting...

Taking a break may help, but it depends what you need help with...

Sometimes it doesn't help much though - I took a break from an entirely unrelated forum that I'd been very active on for years - got banned within a week of going back

Never mind eh, it's only the internet. Nothing is real here anyway...

I got banned about 4 times or so from an unrelated forum.
the latter times mostly for having previously been banned.
Since I am in good company with fellow queens of the banned....it's all good.

I once got banned from a forum for showing them where a troll was breaking their rules by showing them the exact rule the troll was breaking...

The thing that attracted the ban I referred to was that I suggested a diabetic check with his doctor before accepting dietary advice from a car mechanic...

Apparently, that made me "unacceptably argumentative".

Im debating giving this forum a break for a while. Too much bickering, which normally I'm fine with, but now it seems people are attacking each other as individuals, and being vicious/mean about it. And making passive-aggressive/snide comments about each other in unrelated threads. Not sure if I'll take the break or not, but it may help me.

A break now and then does help.

That's about it.
I am guessing the troll was buddies with the mods.....

like I said....I got banned a few times....somehow calling a poster 'my little Texas Tornado' was offensive!

I get them from a roastery just down the road from me, he gets in amazing specialty-grade coffee... he roasts obviously, but is happy to sell off green beans to those who wanna roast too. Get them from there and have tried a few other places around too.
