Well after a long week with the wife being in the hospital and everything else, looks like everyone will be at my house for Thanksgiving. Gotta go shopping bigger Turkey, Ham and everything else.

I just wanted to thank the contributors to this thread for having helped me raise a smile several times over this past week. I have been very low, tucked up tight against my grief, since our wedding anniversary came around and it has done me the world of good to read the impromtu-comedy-acts that have spawned here of lateand :thumbsup:.
Suk - Try a couple of those brownies with the stems sticking out. It's possible that your smile may stick around for awhile. But be careful, studies have shown that this may lead to heroin addition.

Sleepy but too much to do to sleep
Just got back from firing a set of Girl Scout parents....might lose the girl, but that's not up to us anymore.
Mother took it as expected, acted like a 4 yo...the poor child does not stand a chance in life.

yeah, she left the living room when we showed up, would not talk to us (I did not go alone, I brought a witness) and all you heard was 'no' from the bedroom...
I mean, seriously! Last meeting she took the snack away from her daughter! And then she went on to put down her husband in front of not only her daughter, but also the other leader's kids and another girl she had in the car!
