You mean 696-ish... we've never been all that accurate on the whole 10K posts thing.

What ever.... don't you have a shark to swim with or something :D

Oh and I saw one of these today... 90s carrera

Not until August. That's the next dive trip. Planning on doing all sidemount diving instead of backmount for that trip.

I like both those cars, but you're right, I prefer the Porsche. :)

I think, historically, the Brits have done some amazing automotive design work. I personally think the E body Jaguar Convertible is one of the sexiest cars ever built.

Shame about the driveline, though.
Truth be told, if someone gave me one of these, I'd infuriate the purists by ripping out the engine and transmission and installing an LSx driveline.

When I went to train as an auto mechanic way back in the 70s, the head instructor of the school had one of those with the 6 cylinder

I had a chance to buy one, fairly cheap, back in 1979 or 1980. Right hand drive, even. But I had just bought a new Mustang and couldn't swing it.

I had a chance to buy an old Porsche back in the early 80s, It was a late 50s or early 60s models 365. I had the money, but upon inspection I discovered bondo on the roof and after talking to the owner I discovered it had been rolled so I backed out..in retrospect, the price was cheap (less that 1000) and even a full restoration back then would have been worth it based on the price of those things today.... I have seen prices between $100,000 and $300,000

Bought a 70 Dodge Charger in 83. God, I so loved that car. Floor rotted out after so many years, friends kept adding metal to the floor to put off the inevitable. Finally pushed it to the back of the driveway, onto the lawn, figured I'd cry over it for a bit before I junked it.

Knock at the door. Young kid, couldn't have been more than 18. He was collecting old Chargers. Sold it for a buck, he had it towed away.

Couple years go by, knock at the door. Some kid with a moustache. I growl, he points to the street. There sits a candy apple red Dodge Charger that looks like it just came out of a time machine.

He points out every part of my old car that his family used. (dad was a mechanic, two uncles owned body shops) My trunk lid, glove compartment door, headlights, one tail light, both rear panels etc, etc. The car had a dozen coats of shiny paint. You could comb your hair in the reflection.

He took me for a ride. The damn thing actually growled like the beast it was. It was awesome.

Kind of looked like this.Only redder.

Nothing like a good building evac to brighten up the day. :)

Nothing like a good building evac to brighten up the day. :)

got home 5 hours early, do not have to charge anytime, free over half day off...went out in the almost 90 degree weather that was incredibly humid and mowed the lawn

apparently they found several suspicious canisters thought out the building. That is what the news is now saying

My masters degree..... may be changing.... at the same college

I am in an MBA in Cyber security management... I can finish in 3 years, 5 courses per year.
I can switch to a straight masters in Cybersecurity and be done in 2 years, 4 courses 1 year 3 the next. I was in the program before but had to stop due to time constraints.
.
And the straight out Cyber degree appears to be of much more interest to the people I work for at the moment. It was the last time I was in the program too,

Thinking about this and will know for certain by Tuesday
