Hi lena :)

nice one with the tournament results :)

20 gauge is a bit extreme but it sounds as though anything less wouldn't make a dent in it ;)

set up all my bags and laid the new 20mm flooring that i ordered a while back - so was a good day and today i'm gunna be practicing with it :)

new shoes ????? you sound like my best friend she's forever buying shoes LoL ;) as for me i rarely buy shoes - not allowed to wear them in the gym ;)

laid all the flooring and set up my sit up and pull up bars and got all 4 of my punch bags set to the right heights and then collapsed into the sofa with my dog - jake ;) think that jake was exhausted just watching me sort my stuff out lol :)

also put some RDX gel shorts on order through amazon so should get those on tuesday :)

my friend brought his scooby round for me to start work on tomorrow :) at least i know now that i can afford this weeks gym fees :)

good day all round :)

You Welsh Brit Gear Person...you crack me up! :lfao:

point being though you're not a girl ;)

see i'm supposed to buy shoes and dresses and other girlie girlie stuff and instead i buy muay thai shorts and boxing equipment and gearboxes (my speciality) that need rebuilding and stuff ;)

had a really nice chilled out day and carb loaded ready for tomorrow's battle with this scooby :) am gunna be needing it :)

Talking of gear, has anyone ever heard of a "Dri-fit" dobak\gi ? I think I would very like one. I don't feel the cold very much, but I heat up a a lot during training, so wear a dri-fit T underneath, seems to keep me cooler. But got me thinking a complete get up would be nice, might be a little flimsy though, unless they could make a thicker, breathable one.

dri fit gear --- dri fit is the material that they use - extemely comfy to wear for long periods it's windproof extremely breathable and depending on hte fabric mix that company uses is also waterproof to a point ---- very nice gear :)

the shorts that i use to train in at home are dri fit ones and i've never had any problems with it :)

today i got the sequential gearbox on the stand and now i've got about 7hours worth of work to strip it and rebuild it - really like doing these sequential boxes :)

yup :)

i spanner my friends rally cars :) and he was racing this weekend just gone so i not only got to go and watch him in action :) i also get the job of prepping the cars for his next event in germany next week :)

i only work for about 10months a year cos of the rally season :)

the rest of the time i just get to do the mundane stuff that keeps a roof over my head and also puts food on the table but i hate doing it cos people just don't look after their cars :( i've seen cars that have passed vehicle inspections that belong in the scrapyard cos they're that dangerous - i'm talking about holes in the floorpan, arches that have rusted through, leaking fuel tanks, brake lines that have broken cos of rusted joints etc...... some proper death traps.......

at least with my friends scooby's i know what i'm getting and roughly what condition it's going to be in when it comes to me :) --- this week his car came to me after having been wrapped around a wall :( nothing that a bit of sheet metal work won't sort out ;)

personally i can't wait for rallyGB in Wales later this year :) and the latest stages that they've added are absolutely stunning to drive :)
