Man...the number of people out there that will deny basic medical care to their children based on religious beliefs never ceases to amaze me.
 
Lol just got done at the city council meeting. They are suggesting laying off several police fire and Ems personnel as well as cutting th e free bus that rides around our down town waterfront area. 2 citizens testified to keep police and fire 12 people spoke up to keep the bus. One even said the bus is nesissary in case of emergency and natural disasters. People make me laugh
 
not looking too bad after that guy rode his bike into me :)

jake gave my scrapes a proper lick down and my legs look like new again lol :) you just gotta love mans best friend :)

having a practice session later on cos my new RDX bag and mitts turned up while i was out yesterday - just gotta hang my new bag now :)

looking forward to tomorrows session cos i managed to get booked in with the guy that put me through my paces last night :)

just gotta remember to do a "calorie load" today :)

A friend of mine, who was an LEO, likely died because of budget cuts to his department...people moaned, groaned and complained but did nothing other than that. they did not take a stand against the council they did not go to the press all they did was complain to each other, and tell the LEOs they knew or meant how wrong those cuts were....the county board made the cuts..... the board member that was most vocal about the cuts to the PD (he was pushing them) did not show up at the funeral or contact the family or for that matter go anywhere near any LEOs after that. Next years saw an increase4 to the PD
 
just finished home practice and i fell asleep in the shower LoL :)

and i remembered to feed jake too :) so he's happy :) just gotta feed myself and then i think it's gunna be a really early night for me :)

Until somebody steals their lawnmower or their house catches fire....
 
got practice at wolf gym again tonight with the same instructor i had on monday so am really looking forward to it :)

have just started dreading next week cos i'll be doing mon/wed/fri at wolf gym and tues/thurs/fri at cheshire martial which should be like going to hell and back and then some :):):):)

need to remember to carry on with the calorie loading am gunna be needing it lol :)
 
i've got my friends scooby rally car coming tomorrow for a full work up :) i've always loved working on scoobs :)

got a dead right shin from practice tonight - basically he's trying to get me to be more violent lol :) it's as if i wasn't being violent enough to start with :)

got muat thai (same instructor as tonight) on friday morning -- what a wake up call that'll be LoL :)
 
Get to go back to work for a meeting tonight. Apparently my position is going away and I will be moved into another department. Oh joy!

... a short time after I tested for 1st Dan in TKD, my TKD big brother - who had my back every step of the way - was transferred to Alabama..
Just found out - like last year - he is COMING BACK FOR BLACK BELT CAMP!!!!!!!!!! :)
 
sorry to hear about your job :( hoping that the new change of scenery and challenges that lie in wait excite :)

good luck with the scrap on saturday :):) wish i was going i gotta wait cos my rumble on the canvas has been postponed again :(
