What should I know about soju?

It's a distilled rice drink. Basically Korean Sake.
Swirl the bottle, then slap the bottom of the bottle, then open it.
The oldest person in the group should pour, starting with the youngest. Then someone pours for the eldest, and they're supposed to use both hands.
Drink it cold but neat; no ice. The first drink is a shot, after that you can sip it.

Before the shot, say “gunbeh (cheers) then “first shot, last shot”
Oldest go first. Listen to Dirty Dog.
Also learn how to shake hands of an older person.
This I learned from multiple Korean students that stayed with us while they learned business English.
Being a scotch fan, soju to me is just so so. The clear unflavored soju is more palatable to my tastes.
