Enjoy - at least you'll have the weekend to do the next set. I have graduate school tomorrow from 4:30 - 9:00 pm, and then again from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm on Saturday.
It's hard to know what to say to that. Homework is intended to provide necessary practice - the question is, always, how much is necessary? Obviously, she thinks this amount is necessary, or she wouldn't give it. The only choices you have are:
a) do it, and well, so you can get a good grade
b) do it, sort of, so you can get a mediocre grade
c) don't do it, and fail
d) discuss your concerns with parents, building administration, etc, in hopes of changing things - but as a teacher, I can say that you'd best keep your grades up while you do that. Unless and until someone complains - in a valid fashion, not just bellyaching - nothing is going to change.

I didn't say they were good choices - but I've known kids who've made such choices before.
I'm going to bed - I'm tired, my dog is in a cuddly mood (always a bonus) and tomorrow is going to be a llllloooonnnngggg day, with work and grad school.
