I'm just in a bad mood because I lost one this morning who was WAY too young to be dying, let alone dying on xmas eve.
I say "I"... obviously I wasn't the only person involved, but I take it personally when patients die.

A friend of mine went to med. school. Third year he started his clinical rotations. By December he was already pretty numb to this. That kind of worried me.
You learn to bury it, but if you ever really get numb, then you need to go do something else.
He's a gastroenterologist now.
