Tell me something good...

So many broken throttle cables, I loved my bug, but…
Throttle cables, yes. I had several air cooled VWs. In high school, I had one with a broken passenger seat. The back was always fully reclined, so if you rode with me you had to keep yourself upright by holding onto the handle in the dash.

Another one had a broken speedometer. The cable actually routed to the front left tire, and I never could get it right. Best I could do was secure it well enough that the needle would bounce. I basically just estimated my speed based on other cars and which gear I was in.

My favorite was a ‘74 Karmann Ghia. Loved that car. Stock engine so going up a steep hill, I could only maintain about 25 mph in second gear. But it was cool, nonetheless.

I still love the sound of fweem.

I have a steroid shot today (for poison oak issue on my skin). I feel I have a lot of extra energy (feel like 20 years old again). Does anybody have experience in this?

Do you feel

- you have a lot of extra energy?
- your immunity system is weaker?
