Happy EasterHappy Easter MT
It was Easter? I guess I totally missed it. Drove down to Phoenix for a few weeks for some R&R. The weather was spectacular.Happy Easter MT
It's Easter today.... and I'm married to a Chinese woman, and the kids are all grown and out of the house, so Easter is just another day in my house....just was in an uncharacteristically nice mood and wanted say Happy Ester to the folks on MTIt was Easter? I guess I totally missed it. Drove down to Phoenix for a few weeks for some R&R. The weather was spectacular.
Went out and held a sign today for a few hours, as well. I can't say tell you what the sign said, but it was very heartening to see so many people out and about, and the support from so many people in my semi-rural community.
In other news, I've been been enjoying spending time working on cataloguing my local cemeteries for a genealogical website. I think I've read literally 5,000 death certificates over the last few months. I read a death certificate from 1958 today. The poor person died in an accident. Cause of death was a fractured skull and "cerebral maceration and hemorrhage." Very sad. But the phrasing from the coroner was darkly funny. Under "Describe how the injury occurred" he wrote "Said to have fallen down a flight of stairs." Something about the "Said to have" that reads like air quotes to me.
Anyway, hope everyone is doing okay. I'm going out to a save social security rally in Tacoma on Tuesday outside the SSA office there, if anyone wants to join me.![]()
Happy easter everyone. He is risen!
It's weird, I grew up in New England, Massachusetts, left there about 40 years ago. I was never that big into watching sports on TV, but given a chance I would go to the Garden or Fenway. Have not paid any attention at all to any team in 40 years...now that I am fairly certain I am going to retire to New England..... every time I see an NHL game on TV, and the Bruins are playing, I have to watch.
As in fan, own shirts and never miss a game and know the names of all the players, No.Are you a Patriots or Celtics fan?

As in been to the Garden to see the Celtics, yes. Never made it to a Pat’s game. Saw the Red Sox do something at Fenway, that made me happy, that is considered blasphemy to say in the state i currently live in…. They beat the Yankees. I’m a fan of New England teams that is all
Never followed any of them that closely, rarely watched on TV, always wanted them to win. I probably followed the Bruins the closest. But as to how long ago that was, McNab and Bourque were still playing
Now that it appears that i am heading back, I’m getting interested again
