I'm looking forward to going down this path for the rest of my life.
The day when you have developed something, the day that you will never quit because you don't want to lose it.

we sometimes see folks digging harder for permission to quit or excuses to do nothing....
Most beginners quit because they have not developed anything yet. When they quit, they will have nothing to lose.

All joking aside, this is a significant issue with people sticking to exercise programs. Given the amount of utter bilgewater out there, people start an exercise class that doesn't work as advertised, see no results, and quit. I see no problem with them quitting under these circumstances. All they've done is make a rational decision about the amount of effort put in versus the actual results. If more people did that then there wouldn't be as much bum gravy masquerading as fitness instruction.

However in some cases they start with unrealistic expectations... it takes longer than a couple weeks, or months

Many people who trained "pole hanging" quitted before they got the result. But if they can continue their training and get the result, they will be benefitted for the rest of their life.

A powerful head lock can give you a lot of advantage in combat.

"You're gonna be in a world of sheet whatever you do so we may as well have some fun"---- it's not included in the book of revelation but I am sure in the depths of my soul that it features in the space of time immediately preceding the apocalypse

While the owners of two properties have been away I have been effectively managing a team of people. I enjoy it and I blush to admit I'm actually quite good at it. I have, however, learned what it must have been like to manage me and OMGoodness I'm sorry I'm so sorry....
