Well, we got bugs, kids "GITTIN' off a my lawn....we got conflict, fun, fear, and of course action....chasin, them dang kids off a my lawn....and of course raking leaves.....what more could one ask for in a block buster film.....you can even fit mud in somehow......
As I read that, I was visualizing the kind of quick cut scenes for an action film trailer. And the post being read by"the voice of god".

Blessed Samhain, witches! Of course, we know witches and the dead roam the earth year-round, but this is one time we are allowed to come out of the closet.

P.S. Non-witches and the living are welcome to join in, but only if you promise to be nice. No burnings, no hangings, no drownings, no crushings, no exorcisms.:)

And, of course it wouldn't be Halloween without Teddy Bear, the talking porcupine, and his pumpkin!
Really?... Now I wanna go out and get a porcupine. :D

I'd love to quit my job to train..... but that simply is not possible....technically I am about 7 years from retirement but have 1 in college and one not there yet so I have a while to work.

Quit just to train
Pros: you enjoy your day and you are physically fit....for awhile
Cons: You get evicted, end up on the street and starve....and training stops

You could look into a career in fitness....you can train, one way or another, all the time.....
You could always go the survivalist route, go live in the appalachian mountains with a tent, hunt your own food and learn to live with your smell. Then you'd get to train all you want. Just hope you don't get too sick

Yup...exactly what all arthritic guys pushing 60 should do :D

Been away for a few days - missed 8 pages of this thread...

Did I miss anything good?

(Still not smoking btw :D)

Ah blessed be :). Used to be a witch many years ago, Samhain was one of my favourite holidays, enjoy the day :)

Ah congrats, and welcome back ;).

The latest news headlines entail:

-AngryHobbit and gpseymour successfully OWNED that mud run!

-We found out the versatility of kitchen utensils as killing weapons (Spartan-do).

-And the latest gorgeous model to come out of dropbear's gym, was.... himself! Or what the announcement/photo listing would look like if that were the case... (I highly recommend scrolling up to see the pics (post #1181)... I laughed quite hard [emoji1787]).

Whoops, forgot I was brewing tea...., just left my chamomile brewing for 45 mins! Still tastes delightful though...

Roasting day today, the same Colombian Supremo Popayan bean as last time (which turned out beautifully..), and gonna try my first hand at a Brazil Sitio Baixadao Natural...
