I bought allergy medicine today... and some guy in front was buying food and vegetables. (Not sure what the green were. Maybe celery or something green...) but he had a few vegetables he did not have enough to pay for so I pitched in a little and he didnt have to leave any. Actually I stood there quietly listening to them talk and noticing he was trying to figure out what food to leave. But I helped eventually :)

The awkward part is when I realize I came there for allergy medicine... for two weeks I been responsibly taking allergy medicine for two weeks... that's practicly a whole entire month, arguebly two months:eek:
 
So I respond to a Burglary alarm this morning. I get to the house and its obvious its a false alarm I can see the family inside eatting breakfast through the window. I knock on the door and they invite me in and tell me it was an accident. I happen to look over in the kitchen and they had a real live ZEBRA standing in the kitchen. They have a pet zebra. a ZEBRA in the kitchen. I thought I was seeing things at first due to lack of sleep. Thats a new one on me

OK...now...the important thing to know here is....was it white with black stripes or black with white stripes? :D
 
The point is, that he might have to go back and shoot the damn thing because it went rogue!
There is a reason we don't have Zebra racing, etc, after all they are plentiful!
(And they are black with white stripes! ;) )

So the oldest, who is off at college, planned a trip with a friend..... that no one in the family was happy about and everyone I ran it past said the same thing "Is he crazy" so it got cut in half and approved. However Mrs Xue and Grandma Xue were still incredibly upset by it and everyone I know I told ago it said the same thing "is he crazy". So after much discussion with Mrs and Grandma I had to shut the whole trip down, with much explanation and apology and offer of helping set up a trip in spring...when major snow and ice storms are much less likely.

The response I got was an e-mail that was part lecture and part reprimand....... oh to be young 18 and foolish again..... and to have the luxury of forgetting exactly WHO you are messing' with.....yeah..... we're not done....not by a long shot.
 
Ok so we are doing a secret gift exchange at work. I got paired with a female on my shift I have NO idea what to get her. Shes like a total bad a$$ and one of my fav. people here. So I want to do a good job I tried google but it keeps giving me romantic type gifts and thats not us. I dont want a "cop" gift thats to over done

Gloves and hat, always good in cold climate.
Food. Either something to be grabbed on shift, or something Holiday related.
Good warm socks. Ok, maybe not, that's going into the really personal direction.
Nice pocket knife. I like the classic swiss army kind, but there are some really kick-a$$ ones out that won't break the bank, and useful to boot.

But I think food is probably the best bet.
 
ctap, was planning of spending tomorrow in PJs...Hubby informs me he will go to the doc fist thing in the morning. Luckily for me, 7 AM is sleeping in by 3 hours...
 
Will look like a worse idea when you see the factual pay cut come payday...
