Lovely day today. Warm and sunny. Washed and waxed the Vette.
My youngest and her fiance' finally set the date (June 2016), and they've told me plainly that they do NOT want us to pay for any of the wedding. They think that Independent Educated Adults should pay for their own wedding.
Cool.
So their wedding gift is a week on Cozumel. I'm getting off cheap. :)

I can't wait for the weather to cool off some here. Or at least the humidity to drop. Have several vehicles that need a good wash and wax

I don't know what "spatchcock" is, but it sounds like something I'd recommend seeing a urologist about...

Basically you cut out the spine of the chicken Crack the beast bone and it flattens the chicken out. You can cook a chicken in like half the time compared to leaving it intact. And for smoking to me it let's more smoke get into the heifer meat.

You'll sometimes hear spatchcock chicken called 'brick chicken", too, because you often set a (clean or foil wrapped) brick on it...

Started for work this morning, got about 1/2 mile, said screw this, I feel like crap, and turned around while calling in.

Yeah, tomorrow? I'm going to work to rest. You try getting rest with 6 & 7 year olds around.
