So last night I watched an old Chuck Norris movie (I have on DVD) "A Force of One" and as I watched it I began to get this old feeling about Martial Arts and that morphed into I really need to contact the Sanshou school near me and get back to training....... but then I realized this movie was from 1979, and that was the first time I saw it, and it was 36 years ago.... and I am now over a half century old with detached retina surgery in my background... that and Mrs. Xue would never EVER be on board with that after the whole retina thing.... reality hit and I decided that this was not a good idea.... went and did the Taiji fast form I know and I felt better

I watched those Sanshou guys train a couple years ago. It was about 80 degrees outside, they were inside with no AC and man they were working hard. I can remember telling the teacher afterwards...that is absolutely awesome.... and I am absolutely to old to try it. His response was that he understood but he wishes just once someone would say "I think I am to old for this, but let me give it a try".... of course he was about 30 at the time
