OK admittedlyI am probably more sensitive to this than the average person due to my job, and my previous jobs, but In the day and age of fraud, social engineering schemes, and identity theft, this struck me as people being clueless. I was on an elevator today with only 2 other people who are having a conversation you can't help but hear due to the confines of the elevator and the volume they are speaking. I was only on the elevator for a couple minute and I got where one, lived, worked, their name and their job title... That is enough by the way.....

think about it the next time you're talking to someone with other people around that you don't know

Speaking as a person who grew up before computers

We have a flight leaving at 2359 tonight...
I'm not crazy about over night flights, because I'm a light sleeper. Which means I'll sleep not at all on the plane.
The dive shop picks up at 0730 every day!
I'll have no choice but to nap on the beach in the afternoon to recover...

Try a 21 hour flight to China....and I can't sleep on a plan either.... and let me tell you walking up and down the aisle looking at every other person on the entire damn plane sleeping does not help.

First I am told I don't get enough sleep and then I am kept up all night answering question that I could deal with much easier the next day. And the kicker is the very first answer I gave her...at 11:30.....was the one she sent with....... I'm still tired

The Stupid is strong on FB these days....I wish I could just quit it, but I got a couple of folks on my friends list I don't get to talk to otherwise.

Last trip to England, we landed at Heathrow, got in the 911 convertible I had rented, and headed to Peterborough for our first stop. As we hit the M1, it occurred to me that I'd been awake for like 32 hours. Happily, Peterborough isn't far, and I was able to sleep there.

it was a good 30 hours I went without sleep when I went to China too. And then the time change messed me up for a couple days too. If I stopped moving I was sleeping

Lucky you to fall asleep....I get to the point of exhaustion that I can't sleep!
I started to hate travel. I wish I could afford to travel in style:
Either spend the night in the airport hotel before departure/after arrival or take a ship to Europe! Too bad I would have to fly to New York, then take another plane to destination or a train (but trains are fun....you see the world from a different angle!)

you could take one from like that cold lace where you are to San Francisco, then hop on a plane there! Much shorter flight! :)

As much as I like that idea, I can't convince the family that we should take a train to Florida or Washington DC. I also did once try to convince them that a train would be great to go to California....I was voted down every single time
