Just a warning? Lucky!
I decided years ago that the best policy is to make life easy for other people. So when I get clocked and see the officer looking to turn around, I don't make him chase me down. I pull over, turn on my flashers, roll down the window, turn off the engine, and sit there with my hands on the wheel, holding DL, registration, insurance and CCW permit.
In this case, when I thanked the officer for letting me off with a warning, he said "thanks for not making me chase you down."
I get a lot more warnings than tickets.
Exactly what I do to the last detail, dude--no tickets yet, just warnings.
How would you really enjoy spending your life, if money were no object?

Back from Texas...
You all should be proud of me. We drove 2147 miles and I only got pulled over once. And only got a warning (for going 85) from the very nice Texas DPS officer.
I may need a Klondike bar.
