What part of the UK? And what sort of things are you interested in? Every time I go, it's castles and armories.

What are you interested in?
There is a lot to see!
I am partial to Wales. My secret home country!

But I have been to London. It's pretty cool (but that was like 30 years ago, longer, really)
There is Yorkshire, where you might run into Tez....Not sure where Stoke is, Suke lives there, since Brexit b77t his bubble to more elsewhere....
There are so many cool places to visit.

We are thinking several days in London, a side trip to Paris. maybe nottingham, or bath, or whatever... we are open.

In London, it's the Tower, the British Museum, Buckingham Palace, Parliament, and Westminster Cathedral. You can see the last three on the same day. Stonehenge is a bucket list item for lots of people, but I think it's sort of meh. If you're in the area, sure. But I wouldn't make a trip west of London just to see it.
Castles at Leeds, Dover, and Warwick are well worth a trip. If you spend a day at Dover, you should also see the WWII tunnels and barracks, and there's a cold war era Russian sub nearby at Folkestone.

I may be going out on a limb here... but I suspect your feet were at the end of your legs. I mean, they don't usually move around much like that...

Dont know why this thought came to me this morning but, I remember when I got into IT how much I enjoyed it. Use to surprise folks I worked with because they would come to talk to me and find me with my computer in pieces laid out across my desk...right down to the processor and power supply...just an empty case with all the individual parts laid out on the desk....because I got bored and needed something to do.....also use to wipe my Mac regularly and reinstall everything for just fun.......now...it is all I can do to drag myself in... and I find myself wishing retirement was much closer than it is...also think that over the last 20 years, somewhere along the way, I have switched from a PC guy to a Mac guy........and even Macs are not all that exciting these days...But I prefer using them now,

Oh well, recovering from a migraine so I'm a bit groggy...post hang-over kind of groggy....going into work late today.....
