The main election suit challenge in Ohio just went away. What happened to it? They said they had over 900 pages of voter testimony regarding election fraud, but ended up withdrawing their challenge. Does this mean they didn't really have any proof?

Statement Of Attorney General Jim Petro On Challenges To The 2004 Presidential Election In Ohio
January 11, 2005
COLUMBUS – The following statement regarding the decision of the plaintiffs in the cases Moss v. Bush and Moss v. Moyer to dismiss their actions may be attributed to Attorney General Jim Petro:

“We have consistently maintained that there was absolutely no evidence of fraud or election irregularities, and the withdrawal of these challenges confirms our position. It is clear that the bipartisan county boards of elections have performed their duty and they should be commended. I am pleased the plaintiffs have seen fit to drop these challenges to what was a fair and open election process.”

I've not heard this but, my take is that if the republicans really want to re-do the Washington election they will have to deal with the Ohio problem. This will always be grumbled about because the Dems really did try to flood the pols with people who would have never voted unless taken to the polls and the republicans really did over react and attempt to turn as many away by hook or crook as possible. No one comes out looking clean.

This stuff happened both ways. They are still looking into presecuting people for slashing the tires of Republican vans that were giving people rides to polling stations in Millwakee.
Just another exapmple of how Dems and Rebubs are pretty much the same thing.

Is this the challenge to the presidential election? Kerry conceded defeat; were there irregularities - maybe...that's been said for many elections for many years. Big famous one - Kennedy v Nixon - dead people voted for Kennedy, etc. Nixon decided not to demand a recount or fight it for "the good of the country."

The cases are moving forward. They are being investigated in congress. Republican officials are stalling and filing legal challenges in order to intimidate the investigators. Check out some of the sources above. Time will tell.

Maybe they just finally realized that they were wasting there time?

Something that nobody seems to think about is this:

We need to look into ineffeciencies and fraud not to try to discredit our President, but to try to improve the process.

Independent of lawsuits and fingerpointing, I think we need to make improvements to our process for the future elections.

Which case are you referring too? The Moss case or the Moyer case? Or is this a different challenge? There are numerous cases. In fact, there was a challange filed by Badnarik, Cobb, and Kerry...

You may dislike both Dems and Repubs, but this statement hardly supports the argument that "No one comes out looking clean." Driving voters to the polls who would not otherwise be able to vote is simply not in the same category as illegally interfering with the electoral process by turning voters away, telling people to go to the wrong polling place, or intimidating black voters.

There are people who argue that it should be possible to vote from your home via internet, so that driving people to the polls wouldn't even be necessary.
