Here's one of my favorite traditions:

After rank promotion tests (and other times, but especially after tests) we go out and have an anchovy and jalapeño pizza.

Why? That was GM Lee H. Park's favorite pizza We also frequently eat "fish and fungus" pizzas (shrimp, anchovy and mushroom). Another of Park's favorites.

Definately an acquired taste — but they are very tasty.

If don't know why I'm doing something (because it's a tradition), then I ask the person who I'm coping. If they don't know or answer "because that is the way it has always been done", I don't do it. tradition inspit of reason is odd to me
