Today is dragging on, not feeling any better, but 1 day closer to my holiday.

Darn school... my youngest is advanced in Math, passes a test and is supposed to go to math of the next grade. However she is a year early from when they generally allow this so...... for her efforts in math and being advanced for her entire class they reward her with the ability to go to the next grades math.....which we are all happy about... including her.... but what else have they done....made it so she missed Music, Art, Gym and Library AND some of her regular class work....and they are entirely inflexible.... pretty much it appears since we made them work a little harder a year early because she is rather smart (more like her mother than her dad) they have decided to punish her by taking away classes she really enjoys....there response...that's the schedule...take or leave it..... make a choice.....this week.

That's 4 classes plus regular work...seriously....why even bother to offer her advanced math classes?

While I am not a fan of home schooling, THAT is one of the few exceptions in my book...schools for some reason love to punish the smart and driven kids...
