House is totally cleaned which was not an easy task today as half the day was spent watching the pooch. He had surgery a few day's ago and well needs to be monitored so that he does not hurt himself.

Here is a picture of the poor thing in his cone of shame!

The cone of shame is not a good thing.

I hope the pup recovers quickly

I was doing Power 90...day 2.... and likely there will not be a day 3... 20 years ago it impressed me but these days....old, out of shape with bad knees....not so much

I use the same type of logic with people...go figure...

One of my favorite words.... Defenestration is the act of throwing someone or something out of a window

Way back in my Auto mechanic days I was in the break room on the second floor when one of the wash rack college-kids came up and started giving everyone a hard time, insults where thrown back and forth and then he decide to target me….all I said was….”Pick a window”…he responded with “why?”…. And I said “you’re leaving”
He ran down the stairs out of the break room

Got the brisket on at 7am. Ribs will go on the smoker around 1pm. BBQ with some friends will be fun, even if it is a little rainy today.

I like the way you think!

never understood the phrase good night. are you telling someone to have a good night? are you asking them? are you observing and saying you think it is?

Depends on context. Usually, "Good Night" alone expresses a wish or a hope that the person will have a good night.
I bet you relate to Sheldon on TBBT, right?

I watched some good friends earn their Black Belts yesterday followed by a really great party at one of their houses and am truly grateful for our dojang's Membership Oath #2:
we ARE "United in Mutual Friendship!"
