Todays fun: My desktop has decided to start freezing whenever it's booted up. Boot it in safe mode and it works fine. Boot regularly and it locks up almostm immediately.

No, no cooties. I just reformatted and reinstalled Windoze and always run antivirus. Nobody has access to this computer except me. I've narrowed it down to the AMD Raedeon 6800 video adapater, but reinstalling the drivers didn't fix it.
