Folks while I am not panicking yet and a lot would have to happen for my neighborhood to be burnt to the ground I am a little bit concerned when I see smoke from the Carpenter 1 fire for three days at my house. A little bit unnerving. Fortunately there are mountains between us but those mountains have trees that burn. Say a prayer for rain around the Las Vegas area and for all of the West!!!

Although I am only able to make it back about once a year, I love going home to see my family! No matter how crazy my life gets - it's great to know they're waiting with open arms!Home from the gym.

I think we will be okay. It would have to come over the mountains and jump a few roads and the highway. Still it is a bit unnerving!!!
We could see last June's and this June's CO fires from where we were living, and were evacuated for 3 days last year.
