I had a friend many years ago doing a kata with them in competition and he accidentally hit himself in the forehead. Looking back it is a bit funny, at the time not so much because of the 4 stitches it took to close the cut.

Believe me Sir!! I am taking it step by step with this! I've been learning the form a small section at a time and practicing the steps over and over and over again!!! I do appreciate your advice though as I am occasionally knocking myself in the fingers, elbows or my legs!:/ BUT, on the upside - I am really developing more patience, becoming more confident as my left hand (non-dominant) skills improve, AND am almost on the last section of the form!!

Good class this morning. Focused on stretching exercises, started people who just promoted on their new poomsae, and free sparring.
Back in civilization (see DeSoto Scout Trail tread n outdoors)
Put 350 miles on the truck in a week...hiked a couple of miles, shook hands with a park ranger and some guys from the crew, got worked into the ground by a lady ranger, on a stretch shorter than half a mile....the cushy couch life is for the birds!

Heading out to the air port in a few hours. I'm both excited and nervous at same time. I know I'll get there see the conditions these kids are in and want to take a bunch home with me. See you all on the flip side.

...just got home from our official 'end of season DECA bbq kind of sad because I only had 1 season before I graduated from school, but very grateful for the friends I've made...

Well, my first brisket turned out pretty good. Not quite the bark I was hoping for, but the meat was tasty and tender.
X-Men marathon with Sue tonight. I gotta say... Storm is smoking hot.
Agreed :nods in appreciation:. Storm's allure is very strong.
