There are only two good things in Denver - one of my stepdaughters (and her family), and DIA (gateway to Fabulous Diving Destinations).

Had to have a sit-down with a new student on the cusp of puberty. Kid has a lot of instability because of problematic parents. Ugh.
Bingo, dude! Usually we fly into COS but today my daughter was leaving via DIA.
We fly out of DIA. Longer drive, but it's worth it to get non-stop flights. I hate layovers. Despise them. Loathe them. Layovers suck ***.
We get a surprising number of flights right into COS, but not always--and not always at a decent rate.
