Did a few runs today with the Vette.
Nothing too special, just a trying to get a baseline.
Average was 13.8@105 with a DA a touch over 7000 feet. That trap speed works out to about 330RWHP, which is not bad at all, considering that stock, the LS1 was rated at 345HP at the flywheel. I think 20% driveline loss is a reasonable guess, which puts me at about 400 flywheel HP. I'm sure Gemini will check my math, and maybe he'll even tell me what the corrected times would have been if I were not perched on top of a mountain.
I'm not sure what the previous owner did, but so far I know there's a Blackwing CAI, an LS6 intake manifold and a catback exhaust. I'm planning to put on a set of longtube headers, high flow cats and exhaust next, but I probably won't get that done until the temp tag expires. :rofl:
