Now, there are some add-in features that work for communications. IM systems, chat room, Shout Box (which is kinda like TLP but on the main page), etc. Unfortunately, the IM system we had was an unsupported 3rd party add-in, and it was buggy, and the chat room requires 24/7 moderation to keep out problems, and it too was a buggy 3rd party add-in. I've been looking at Shout Box's for 6 months, trying to find one that's got good features , is easy to install and maintain, and doesn't drag the site down.

That's one of the problems with em, plus after so many comments, they get deleted forever.
At lunch long day teaching, man it is hard to come back after two weeks. I will survive everybody.

LOL ... I need to kick my diet back into gear. I had lost 17 pounds, then threw my back and ended up gaining 10 back. Time to lose again!
Speaking of which, maybe I'll go to the gym (or even take a walk if it's no longer so icy)...
