The news and social media and just about anywhere you look lately seem dominated by negative news and stories. I'm going to lift an idea from a radio show I sometimes listen to... The host has a fairly regular segmen he calls "Tell me something good." He invites listeners to call in with good news, whether it's big like births or marriage, or little, like a nice sunrise... doesn't matter, it just has to be some good news. So... in this thread, tell us something good!

Potential contact with ETs? I hope they activate our DNA and give us new (or old?) technology

Turned out to be quite the emotional night. I thought it was just myself and another new blue, but no, a couple of kids got their grey, two people got their purple (the instructor's wife and son), another got his brown and the instructor got to promote his first two black belts!

That's funny, they've actually got that as a theme for beginners in january, leaf-making.

I'm hoping to have my other nephew, the older one, over in the summer. I'm going to march him up and down the mountain a few times, give him a pocket knife and teach him to shoot. All of which would absolutely horrify my brother if he knew about it
