Tell me something good...

I don't know how it popped up haha.. but this video did. What just seems like ambient music became like a checkpoint for many people. The comments section is just flooded with really, really nice things from people, like the song brought them all there. Thought it was really heart-warming :) 💗

This is crazy! This just showed up in my recommended today, I saved it to watch later and forgot about it. I guess I really did need to hear this! 😂

This sort of music is so easy and satisfying to make…if you have the right kit 😉

Yes, I often compose/play in my pyjamas as the morning is when inspiration strikes!

Today's training session brought so much joy and put a smile on my face. My teacher explained a movement to me in our forms. I went through the form not thinking and my body went into autopilot and did it. I thought I messed up the form, but he said "no you did it perfect" it brought a smile to my face and joy. Growing up I didn't get alot of recognition. So today felt great. It made me so happy that something I been putting blood sweat and tears into is working out and I'm getting better at it. So yeah that's my something good for the day.

The news and social media and just about anywhere you look lately seem dominated by negative news and stories. I'm going to lift an idea from a radio show I sometimes listen to... The host has a fairly regular segmen he calls "Tell me something good." He invites listeners to call in with good news, whether it's big like births or marriage, or little, like a nice sunrise... doesn't matter, it just has to be some good news. So... in this thread, tell us something good!

Did you know that you're the product of tens of thousands of years of evolutionary success? You're alive because of your ancestors' survival instincts, creativity, courage, wit, and victory in the face of countless wars and threats.

You're proof that you have the potential to be something more. You've inherited success, it's in your DNA.

And we're all distant relatives.

Love ya, cousin!

It's always a good feeling to know you are improving and making progress. I'm glad you had a great training session and are seeing the results of all your hard work.

We all know that walking is good exercise. But when you walk, your upper body can do some work out too. You can throw punches when you walk. If you coordinate punch with foot landing, you can achieve body unification.

Here are some one arm 3 punches combo to share. If you drill each combo 20 times that will be 20 x 3 x 16 = 960 punches. You should be able to finish 980 punches within 1/2 mile.

Which MA style are you training? Do you care?

- jab, jab, jab.
- jab, jab, hook.
- jab, jab, uppercut.
- jab, jab, overhand.

- low hook, middle hook, jab.
- low hook, middle hook, high hook.
- low hook, middle hook, uppercut.
- low hook, middle hook, overhand.

- hook, back fist, jab.
- hook, back fist, hook.
- hook, back fist, uppercut.
- hook, back fist, overhand.

- hook, horizontal back fist (∞ punches), jab.
- hook, horizontal back fist (∞ punches), hook.
- hook, horizontal back fist (∞ punches), uppercut.
- hook, horizontal back fist (∞ punches), overhand.

I'm grateful we didn't lose power last night. Winds were 65+ mph here last night. So that's something good. Normally every big storm I lose power. One time lost power for 4 days before Christmas and it was back on Christmas morning. So I'm grateful that didn't happen this time.
