*peeks in* ahem...newbie here...:-p (and a game for us!)

Rank would be a suitable description, for the smell from my teenage boy's shoes:D

Shoes is an option to wear in many dojos/dojangs.

5 kids are one more than I have, but I still feel your pain. ;)

Pain is just a part of martial arts training.

Training properly is the best way to improve your techniques, and when done intensely, can really test your endurance and spirit.

Spirit away all your worries while you practice and focus on strengthening your body and mind.

ahead, is the future - promised to no one.
behind is the past - what's done is done and cannot be undone.
now is all that we have, so treat it like a gift, the present!

:asian:

Time may separate us from ancient teachings, but proper study can reward us with the wisdom they contain.

Contain your emotions and draw on power rationally when doing your practice.

Practice with sincere devotion, and you will find a way of life.

Details understood and performed within techniques may make you a better martial art student.

student that keeps coming back for more will one day teach well
--Dave

Long hours of study and dedication will help the student achieve black belt rank.
