If you are for socialism, then just say so.

I do not understand how people argue positions that are clearly socialist economics, and then say that they are capitalists.

Be proud of your socialism.

Unless there is something wrong with socialism.....

this is not a one or the other thing though, it is two ends of a spectrum.

I believe that some services are better off socialized (military, fire, police, medical, education, roads, social assistance, etc) I also believe some services are better if they are controlled by the government (electrical, power, water)

All out Socialism is not the answer, nor is all out capitalism. In many industries free market capitalism is definitely the best option, but in others its not. It is also something that needs to be monitored, as left to its own in industries with a high enough barrier to entry it begins to fail.

a economy is not entirely socialist or entirely capitalist. Peoples views are not just socialist or just capitalist. Everyone believes in a bit of each, different people just believe in different amounts of each.
