Top 2 of my dream destinations. I've never been off north America before. But one day I will have the funds and I will appreciate it more than if I didn't have to wait. I once Had a round trip ticket to Tokyo cost me like $1400 was going to go to the kodokan and train with my senseis teacher. I got sick and wasn't able to make it. I did get a partial refund. And a year later I used the money to take my family to Las Vegas.
Hope you're able to get there, I have never been to any of them, been to Las Vegas and Beijing, but not Japan, Taiwan or Hong Kong.
Taiwan also seems like an interesting place. I mer someone who was a relative of one of a friend of the family. He was in Taiwan for 2 years teaching something at a school there. He said they had some very interesting delicacy type food.
food is supposed to be good in Taiwan. I have also been told it is good in Hong Kong. My wife knows people from Taiwan and has a colleague in Hong Kong
I’ve never been to Asia. My wife has gone to Vietnam and Thailand for work, but I wasn’t able to tag along. Thailand and Japan are on the bucket list. She was in Chang Mai and said it was delightful.
I've been to Norway but that is the only place in Europe, but my wife is planning a trip for us there in the next couple years. We have another trip to Beijing and on to Europe, just not sure which one we are going to first. All I Know is the second one will be after I retire.
