…it’s like a marriage where one half becomes overly reliant on the finances and set of skills of the other often due to laziness. Then dominant side dies and the dependant has to scramble around to understand the finances and pensions etc.

I think it’s a mark of civilisation, the respect for life and the power of diplomacy that ‘some countries’ haven’t fought a war in 40 years.

But just in case, I’m reading this so I’m up to speed and can advise those that request my expert help!

There are so many of them! I think these malapropisms arise because people hear, rather than reading them. People simply don’t seem to read anymore

This Namo Amituofo Chant is helping me keep my sanity in the office today, a lot of conversations around my desk I can hear, that would just make me angry, and it stops me from telling people to shut up and go away.... which would not go so well with some of them....so...headphones on.... and this

This use to play constantly in my Mother-in-laws house in Beijing.... you get use to it, then when you leave, you miss it.... and now I use it to relax at times like this
