Currently watching I Am Legend. I'm not a movie guy at all, but for some reason post-apocalyptic movies or settings really speak to me, I'm certain there are deeper symbolic/psychological reasons for that
But anyone have any other recommendations for these kind of movies?
Ps. Can involve infected ones/zombies, but can also not haha
Simon, if you like to read, get the book Swan Song by Robert McCammon. It’s
apocalyptic, has terrific characters and is the greatest story of good vs evil I’ve ever read.
I read it at least once a year and haven’t got tired of it yet.

A cult classic with a very young Don Johnson is A Boy and His Dog. A dark comedy. Not to be taken too seriously.Currently watching I Am Legend. The Road is amazing. Heavy. Also, a really good book.
A couple of great series:
Last of Us. It’s just incredible. Dark amd sad, but man oh man is it good.
Fallout is also awesome and kind of funny.

Today is Guy Fawkes Day in the U.K. so there will be fireworks and burning effigies of the traitor who tried to blew up the Houses of Parliament in 1605.
I suspect there will be similar events in the USA in the next few days albeit for very different reasons.

I just discovered Dave Mustaine, of Megadeth, holds black belts in taekwondo and Ukidokan karate. In 2007, he was made a Goodwill Ambassador of the World by the World Taekwondo Federation. Mustaine has also trained Sanshou and Kickboxing and has recently become a dedicated practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. In January 2021, he was awarded the rank of Purple Belt in the art. In 2022 Mustaine was promoted to brown belt in BJJ at the age of 61.

Spent two days dogsitting. I'm thinking if the priesthood thing doesn't work out I could become a full time dogsitter. I'd advertise on the internet, and travel around the country to people's houses who want to come home to a clean house and happy dogs instead of putting the poor things in a kennel. I'd basically be a bum who would clean your house top to bottom and cuddle and love your dogs while you weren't there.
